Meta-Western about innocently naive scottish upper class boy sailing across atlantic to colorado in the 19th century to find his “true love”. Love is an infantile infatuation, and movie explicitly deals with this at its climax. Michael Fassbender cool as always, would go on assbender for Fassbender. The beautiful dream sequence involving Fassbender and female object of affection in white cabin sticks out in mind. Truly enjoyable movie experience, and probably the first theatre experience alone.
